the harvest festival was mostly about food and supplies. making sure people had enough to eat, clothes on their back, that sort of stuff. christmas or sinterklaas or whatever you want to call it is mostly just about doing nice things for other people. there's a donation drive going on, if that's something you're into.
if you want to just show up to the party and bring booze for the crowd, that's cool too.
